PAREIDOLIA

OVERVIEW

Pareidolia (2023) is an immersive experimental installation curated by Natasha Quinn and Erica Mendonca. In this project, I animated an 1-minute film named “Grover’s Mill” following the journey of an unknown celestial object on its playful adventure across the universe.

The animation is created using Adobe CC suite and hand-drawn digital illustration, paired with a sound track beautifully designed by Diana Bahirian. Pareidolia is exhibited at Humber College’s Arts Common on April 1st, 2023, and showcased in Toronto’s Hot Docs theatre on April 20th, 2023.

THE RESULT

The art installation attracted 100+ visitors in one day of exhibition. Many raving reviews, photos and videos are posted online. Many thanks to the professors and peers that support us during our production and showcase.
